Pest Control and Lawn Care for Rockledge Homes
Rockledge is one of the oldest cities in Brevard County, and that history shows in the housing stock. There are established neighborhoods with mature trees, older CBS homes, and properties that have been through decades of Florida weather and the pest pressure that comes with it. There are also plenty of newer subdivisions going up throughout the city, some with HOA requirements, some without. The mix of old and new makes Rockledge one of the more varied service areas in Brevard County.
Older homes in Rockledge come with their own set of pest entry points. Additions built over the years often leave gaps at the junction with the original structure. Cracked slabs give subterranean termites a path in that bypasses treatment barriers entirely. Aging soffits and rooflines create entry points for roaches and the occasional rodent. Mature oak and palm trees close to the structure give ants a direct highway to the roofline. None of these are insurmountable problems, but they require a thorough inspection and a treatment approach that accounts for what is actually there rather than a generic spray-and-go service.
Newer Rockledge homes have their own pressures. Florida’s year-round warmth means fire ants, ghost ants, and the full range of Space Coast pests are active from the day a home is finished. Being newer does not mean being protected.
I have been serving Rockledge for over 20 years as an owner-operated, veteran-owned business. You get me at every visit, a direct line to my cell, and guaranteed results with no long-term contracts.
See Your Price Instantly
Most pest control companies make you wait for a salesperson to show up before they will tell you what anything costs. That salesperson’s job is to figure out how much you are willing to pay before quoting a number.
That is not how I operate. Slide the estimator to your home’s square footage and your price appears immediately. It is accurate, it is instant, and there is no obligation. Book online and I will show up ready to work. No pressure, no stranger at your kitchen table, no surprises at the door.

Combined Pest Control and Lawn Care Program
I offer a combined pest control and lawn fertilization and insect control program that handles both in a single visit every six weeks. Instead of quarterly pest control visits plus a separate lawn service, everything gets done together more frequently for a single combined price.
How It Works
Service increases from quarterly to every six weeks when you add the lawn program. Every visit includes a granular lawn application combined with the full perimeter pest control treatment. At every visit I am applying something to the lawn that does more than one job, either a fertilizer with pest control built in, a pre-emergent to prevent weed seeds from germinating, or a weed and feed product. There is no visit where the lawn just gets fertilizer and nothing else.
The Allectus Application
During the appropriate season I apply a granular fertilizer incorporating Allectus insecticide, a professional-grade dual-action product from Envu, formerly Bayer. Allectus combines two distinct chemical classes in a single application. One targets surface feeders like chinch bugs and sod webworms damaging turf from above. The other, Imidacloprid, moves into the root zone and targets subsurface pests like white grubs while providing residual prevention against fire ants establishing in the lawn. You get turf feeding, current pest knockdown, and future prevention in one granular application.
Summer: Complying with Brevard County’s Nitrogen Ban
Brevard County prohibits nitrogen fertilizer applications during the summer months to protect local waterways. My program is designed around this restriction. During the ban I switch to a 0-0-7 formulation with Allectus and a full complement of minor elements. The lawn gets zero nitrogen to comply with the regulation but still gets the Allectus insect protection and the micronutrients it needs to stay healthy and look good through the summer. Your turf stays protected from chinch bugs, grubs, and fire ants even during the months when nitrogen cannot be applied.
Winter
In winter I apply a weed and feed product along with a pre-emergent to prevent cool-season weed seeds from germinating before they become a problem.
Slow-Release Granular Makes the Difference
I use slow-release granular fertilizer that feeds the lawn steadily over time between visits. That means the color holds through the full six-week interval rather than fading out in the middle. If you water only when necessary rather than on a fixed schedule, that color lasts even longer and the root system develops the depth and strength that makes turf genuinely resilient.
Pricing
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Quarterly pest control only | Starting at $99 |
| Combined pest control and lawn care, with irrigation rain sensor | Starting at $150 every 6 weeks |
| Combined pest control and lawn care, no irrigation rain sensor | Starting at $199 every 6 weeks |
The price difference comes down to irrigation control. Without a rain sensor, irrigation systems typically run on a fixed schedule regardless of rainfall and overwater the lawn. Overwatered turf requires more product to stay healthy and pest-free. A rain sensor shuts the system off when it rains, prevents overwatering, and brings your service price down. It is an inexpensive fix with a real return.
No long-term contracts. Free callbacks between visits if covered pests return. Seniors and active military receive 10% off. Credit cards accepted at no additional charge.
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY
Comprehensive Pest Control Services

Free Attic Dusting Once a Year
Every customer receives attic dusting with Delta Dust once per year at no additional charge. No other pest control company in Rockledge includes this as part of a standard service.
The attic is one of the primary routes insects use to enter the living space, and in older Rockledge homes with more roofline gaps and aging soffits, that route is even more relevant. Roaches nesting in attic insulation, ants traveling down through wall voids from colonies in the eaves, insects getting in through roofline openings. A perimeter treatment does not reach any of that.
I use a specialized modified blower to distribute Delta Dust throughout the entire attic space, covering every corner, every eave, and every void. Delta Dust is the world’s only 100% waterproof insecticidal dust and keeps working in Florida’s humid conditions for up to eight months after a single application.
Included in your annual service at no extra charge.
While my pest control service can’t exterminate those pesky love bugs, I can guarantee a pest-free home!

Pest Pressure in Rockledge
- Fire ants are a consistent problem throughout Rockledge. Heavy rain pushes colonies toward homes regularly, and properties near the Indian River or any of the canals running through the city face higher than average fire ant pressure year-round. Quarterly pest control keeps fire ant pressure managed as part of the standard service. Once-a-year fire ant control is available for persistent problems and eliminates colonies for a full twelve months.
- Ants of all species are active year-round. Ghost ants, Argentine ants, white-footed ants, carpenter ants, and rover ants all appear regularly in Rockledge homes. Carpenter ants are particularly relevant on older properties with mature trees, aging wood, or any history of moisture intrusion. I treat trees and plants around the home as part of every service because that is often where ant colonies are actually based.
- Roaches including American cockroaches, palmetto bugs, Smoky Brown cockroaches, and Australian cockroaches nest in palm tree crowns, mulch beds, and garages and move inside year-round. German cockroaches require a dedicated treatment approach. If you are seeing small tan roaches in the kitchen or bathroom, ask about the German roach treatment when you call.
- Rats are a consistent presence throughout Rockledge. Properties near the Indian River or canal banks face higher rat pressure than inland properties, but rats are active throughout the city. Outdoor rodent bait stations can be added to your regular service for as low as $15 per visit. I rotate bait types regularly and refill stations at every visit to maintain consistent pressure on the surrounding population.
- Termites are active throughout Rockledge year-round. Older homes with cracked slabs, additions, and aging construction give subterranean termites more potential entry points than newer construction. I offer complete subterranean and drywood termite control with instant online pricing, a yearly booster treatment, and a $1,000,000 repair guarantee. See the [Termite Control page] for full details.
What the Pest Control Service Includes
Every visit starts with cobweb removal and wasp nest clearing from eaves, entryways, and pool enclosures. The exterior perimeter is treated around the foundation, windows, doors, sidewalks, and driveway edges. Trees, shrubs, and plants are inspected and treated for scale and aphid activity that draws ants in. Granular ant bait is applied to active trails and nesting areas. Interior treatment is included at the initial service and annually after that, or any time interior activity warrants it during a scheduled visit.
Once per year, attic dusting with Delta Dust at no additional charge.

Lawn Care
What is the combined pest control and lawn care program?
Every six weeks I visit the property and handle both the perimeter pest control treatment and a granular lawn application in a single visit. Depending on the season that application is either a fertilizer with Allectus insect control, a pre-emergent, or a weed and feed product. The program covers pest control, fertilization, insect control, weed prevention, and fire ant prevention in a combined service that costs less than separate services would.
Why does Brevard County ban nitrogen fertilizer in summer?
Brevard County prohibits nitrogen fertilizer applications during the summer to reduce nutrient runoff into the Indian River Lagoon. My program is designed around this. During the restricted period I switch to a compliant 0-0-7 formulation with Allectus so the lawn still gets insect protection and micronutrients without violating the ban.
Why does the lawn program cost more without a rain sensor?
Without a rain sensor, irrigation systems run on a fixed schedule regardless of rainfall and typically overwater the lawn. Overwatered turf requires more product to stay healthy and pest-free. A rain sensor is an inexpensive fix that shuts the system off when it rains and brings your service price down.
