Every Other Pest Control Company Leaves the Underside of Your Mobile Home Completely Unprotected
Think about that for a moment.
A standard pest control service for a mobile or manufactured home sprays the perimeter, maybe treats inside, and calls it done. The crawlspace underneath, the warm, dark, humid space that sits directly below your living area and gives insects a direct path up into your home through every gap in the floor, every plumbing penetration, every crack in the subfloor, gets nothing.
That unprotected crawlspace is where a significant portion of roach, ant, and silverfish problems in mobile homes actually originate. Moisture collects under there from Florida’s humidity, from aging pipes, from condensation on plumbing. Insects breed in that environment and work their way up. The perimeter spray on the outside does not reach any of it.
I am the only pest control company in Brevard and Indian River County that treats underneath mobile and manufactured homes with insecticidal dust. It is the most important thing I do for manufactured home customers, and it is something every other company in this area simply does not offer.

How the Under-Home Treatment Works
I treat through every skirting opening around the home using a specialized modified blower that creates air currents to carry Delta Dust throughout the entire crawlspace. I direct the dust into each opening and let the air currents distribute it to every corner, every pier block, every void, and every area where insects are hiding and breeding underneath the home. The dust settles in a light even layer exactly as the label specifies, covering the full underside of the home without me needing to go underneath.
The entire application takes just a few minutes once I am set up. The protection it provides lasts up to eight months, and in a sealed crawlspace with limited disturbance it often holds longer.
Why Delta Dust Is the Right Product for This Job
Not all insecticidal dusts are created equal, and for the underside of a mobile home in Florida, most of them are the wrong choice.
The crawlspace under a manufactured home gets wet. Aging plumbing sweats and sometimes drips. Florida’s humidity keeps moisture levels high. Most insecticidal dusts absorb moisture, clump together, and lose their effectiveness within weeks of application in those conditions.
Delta Dust is the world’s only 100% waterproof insecticidal dust. It does not clump, does not absorb moisture, and keeps working long after application even when conditions are damp. That is not a marketing claim, it is the reason I chose this product specifically for this application after 20 years of figuring out what actually works in Florida crawlspaces.
The active ingredient is deltamethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that kills insects on contact and continues working as a residual long after it is applied. It controls roaches, ants, silverfish, earwigs, scorpions, spiders, and a broad range of other crawling insects, everything that is likely to be living and breeding underneath your home.
What Lives Under Your Mobile Home
The crawlspace under a manufactured home is one of the most pest-friendly environments in Florida. It offers everything insects need: warmth, darkness, humidity, protection from predators, and in many cases a food source from organic debris that accumulates over time.
Large roaches including American cockroaches and palmetto bugs are the most common problem. They breed under the home in significant numbers and find their way up through gaps in the floor. If you are seeing large roaches inside your home on a regular basis and perimeter treatments have not solved it, they are almost certainly coming from underneath.
Ants including ghost ants, Argentine ants, fire ants, and carpenter ants all use the crawlspace as a highway into the structure. Ghost ants and Argentine ants trail up through plumbing penetrations into kitchens and bathrooms. Carpenter ants nest in any wood that has been softened by moisture.
Silverfish thrive in the humid conditions underneath manufactured homes and move up into closets, bathrooms, and storage areas. Earwigs, pill bugs, scorpions, and spiders all find the crawlspace attractive for the same reasons.
The Delta Dust treatment addresses all of them in a single application that covers the entire underside of the home.

Get More With the Full Mobile Home Pest Control Service
The under-home treatment is powerful on its own, but the most complete protection for a manufactured home combines it with a full perimeter treatment, interior crack and crevice spray, granular ant baiting, cobweb and wasp nest removal, and plant and landscape inspection.
My regular mobile home pest control service includes all of that, plus the under-home Delta Dust treatment at every visit, for $89 per service for single-wide homes and $109 for double-wide homes. Regular customers also receive a free callback guarantee if pests return between visits, and attic dusting with Delta Dust once per year at no additional charge.
If you are dealing with a recurring pest problem in your manufactured home that other companies have not been able to solve, the under-home treatment combined with the full service is almost certainly the reason they have been failing and the reason my service works where theirs did not.
What to Expect After Treatment
If your home had an active roach population underneath it before treatment, you may see roaches appearing on the porch or around the exterior in the hours after the service. They will be slow, stumbling, and dying. That is a normal and actually reassuring sign that the treatment is working. It takes a few hours for the dust to work through the population, and insects that have been exposed will come out of hiding as the product affects them.
Within a day or two activity should drop significantly. Within a week it should be gone.

Frequently Asked Questions: Crawl Space Dust Treatments.
Is the dust treatment safe for my family and pets?
Yes. Delta Dust is EPA-registered and odorless. Once the dust has settled after application, which happens quickly, you can resume normal activity. There is no need to leave the home during the treatment.
Can you apply the dust if my skirting vents are covered with window screen?
Yes. The blower delivers enough pressure to push the dust through screening and into the crawlspace. Every skirting opening gets treated regardless of what is covering it.
How long does the treatment last?
Up to eight months under normal conditions. In a sealed crawlspace with limited disturbance it often holds longer. The waterproof formula means moisture under the home does not break it down the way it would most other dusts.
Do you go underneath the home to apply the treatment?
No. I treat through the skirting openings using a blower that creates air currents to distribute the dust throughout the entire crawlspace. Full coverage without going under the home.
Does the crawlspace treatment control termites?
No. This treatment is designed for pest insects. If you are concerned about termites in your manufactured home, I offer a separate termite control service specifically for mobile and manufactured homes. Ask about it when you call.
Why is under-home pest control so important for manufactured homes?
Because the crawlspace is the one area that every other pest control company ignores, and it is the area where a significant portion of pest problems actually originate. Leaving it unprotected is leaving the door open. This treatment closes that gap and gives your home a level of protection that a standard perimeter spray simply cannot provide.
Should I store things under my mobile home?
No. Stored items, especially cardboard, paper, or anything that holds moisture, attract and harbor pests and make it harder to maintain effective pest control underneath the home. Keep the crawlspace clear.
Does air circulation under the home matter?
Yes, significantly. Poor ventilation traps humidity and creates ideal conditions for moisture-loving insects. Make sure your skirting allows adequate airflow. If you have drainage issues or plumbing leaks under the home, addressing those reduces the conditions that draw insects in the first place.
